MetLife Stadium temporarily changes its name for World Cup

We’re seeing big changes at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey — all in preparation for the World Cup. The famous stadium is changing its name to New York New Jersey Stadium – ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup — which will be played out in stadiums across Mexico, Canada and the United States. On Monday, Chopper 4 flew over the stadium and saw the new signs going up. FIFA requires participating stadiums to remove pre-existing branding during the World Cup since it does not allow venues with corporate-sponsored names or logos. As a result, stadiums use generic city or regional names when hosting world cup games. The New York New Jersey Stadium will hold several World Cup matches and the July 19 final. Be sure to catch every match and exciting moment live in Spanish on Telemundo and Peacock starting June 11!

Cracking a 16-year proton mystery as ultra-precise hydrogen measurements confirm a smaller-than-expected core

The simplicity of a hydrogen atom makes it an ideal model for studying atomic structure and interactions. Yet, despite the fact that its simplest form consists of only one proton and one electron, physicists have had a hard time pinning down the exact charge radius of the proton. But a new study, published in the journal Physical Review Letters, outlines a method of measurement that helps to resolve some past discrepancies.
