San Diego weather: Gradual warming this week

Expect another day of gradual clearing with seasonable afternoon highs. Wave heights at the beaches will be close to 6 ft with dangerous rip currents. After today, high pressure will begin to warm us up, so it will be noticeably warmer inland Tuesday afternoon with a shallower marine layer through the rest of the week, so early clouds will have an easier time clearing. The entire county will be warming up through the rest of the week with a heat risk for the deserts by the end of the week. Friday should be the warmest day. Also by the middle to end of the week, moisture to our South will begin to move North so humidity will be increasing across the county. The weekend ahead will be warm and dry but still feeling a bit muggy. MONDAY Coast: gradual clearing – low 70s Inland: clouds to sun – upper 70s Mountains: sunny – mid 70s Deserts: sunny – near 100
